Continuing Excellence: Rector Appoints New Head of Cooperation and International Office

Surabaya, February 13, 2025 – The Rector of Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember has officially inaugurated new university officials, including the appointment of As’ari, M.Pd.I. as the Head of the Center for Cooperation Services and International Office. The ceremony took place during the 2025 Leadership Meeting (Rakerpim) and was attended by the university’s leadership and academic community.

As’ari, M.Pd.I., a lecturer at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, previously served as the Coordinator of the English Education Study Program and Head of Cooperation at UIN KHAS Jember. He replaces Dr. Achmad Fathor Rosyid, S.Sos., M.Si., who has been appointed as Vice Dean for General Administration, Planning, and Finance at the Faculty of Da'wah.

The inauguration included an oath-taking ceremony and the signing of the official minutes. In his address, Rector Prof. Hepni commended the dedication and achievements of the previous office holders and emphasized the importance of innovation, collaboration, and synergy in the new roles.

“The experience and successes from previous positions should be applied to these new roles. This rotation is a sign of the university’s trust, ensuring that fresh perspectives drive further growth and excellence,” he stated.

He also encouraged the newly appointed officials to embrace a progressive, creative, and forward-thinking approach in their leadership.

“I trust that all newly appointed officials will contribute their best efforts to the progress of UIN KHAS Jember. With increasing challenges ahead, teamwork and commitment are essential in realizing the university’s vision and mission,” he added.

This leadership transition is part of UIN KHAS Jember’s commitment to strengthening human resources and improving university governance. Through strategic appointments, the university aims to continue its development and make a meaningful impact on higher education and society. (by NEA, Editor: MA/MDA)
