Exploring Scholarship Collaboration, Vice Rector III Welcomes Indonesia Scholarship Center and Discusses Potential Cooperation
International Office – Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University (UIN KHAS) Jember, through its Center for Cooperation Services and International Office, held an online meeting to discuss a draft collaboration with the Indonesia Scholarship Center on Friday, July 5, 2024, via Zoom.
Representing the Indonesia Scholarship Center (ISC) were Prof. Didin Nuruddin Hidayat, M.A., TESOL., Ph.D., Chairman, along with team members Adithyawarman, Naufal Pradana, Fida Amatullah, Yunita, Ahmad Baehaki, and Kanda Mubarag. On behalf of UIN KHAS Jember, the meeting was attended by Dr. Khoirul Faizin, M.Ag., Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, accompanied by the International Office team led by Dr. Fathor Rosyid, S.Sos., M.Si., and the Career Development Unit team led by Dr. Rusydi Baya'gub, M.Pd.I.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Didin, Chairman of the ISC, expressed his gratitude to UIN KHAS Jember for welcoming the discussion. He emphasized that ISC, as a national academic institution, has numerous programs, especially related to scholarships, that can benefit UIN KHAS Jember, particularly its students and alumni. “Currently, the spirit of collaboration is essential to achieve our goals. ISC is ready to collaborate to support the realization of various UIN KHAS Jember programs that align with ISC’s initiatives, thereby achieving our shared vision and mission.”
Dr. Khoirul Faizin, M.Ag., Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, thanked the ISC for initiating the cooperation. He assured that UIN KHAS Jember is ready to follow up on this collaboration promptly. “We must not miss these excellent programs, especially those related to webinars, catalogs, and scholarship festivals. The institution is prepared to cooperate with ISC, considering these programs will greatly benefit the university, particularly our students and alumni.” In closing, Vice Rector III conveyed greetings from the Rector of UIN KHAS Jember to ISC, expressing hope that the MOU could be signed soon.
Dr. Fathor, Head of the International Office at UIN KHAS Jember, stated in his remarks that UIN KHAS Jember is ready to collaborate with the ISC. He noted that many scholarship programs are offered by various national and international institutions, but due to a lack of publicity, students often miss this information. UIN KHAS Jember is pleased with the potential collaboration with ISC, as it will provide comprehensive scholarship information to UIN KHAS Jember’s students, alumni, and academic community. He expressed hope that this cooperation will be established and beneficial for both parties.
