Rector of UIN KHAS Jember Signs International MoU with The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IFSC) Turkey
International Office – Rector of Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq (UIN KHAS) Jember welcomed a delegation from The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IFSC) turkey on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the Rectorate meeting room. The agenda for the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the discussion of future collaboration between UIN KHAS Jember and The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IFSC) Turkey.
The MoU was signed by the Rector of UIN KHAS Jember, Prof. Hepni, and the President of The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IFSC) Turkey, Dr. Said Yuce. This MoU focuses on international collaboration in the areas of the university’s Tri Dharma, including the exchange of lecturers, educational staff, and students; joint research; publications; conferences; and various other mutually beneficial fields.
In his remarks, Prof. Hepni expressed that UIN KHAS Jember is very pleased to undertake this collaboration with The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IFSC) Turkey, especially with the joint conference, an international seminar organized by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Humanities. He hopes that collaboration in other areas can soon be realized and benefit both parties.
Dr. Fathor Rosyid, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of the Center for Cooperation Services and International Office, stated that the collaboration with The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IFSC) Turkey is a tangible step in realizing the DASA CITA of UIN KHAS Jember. The university stands to gain significantly from this international partnership, particularly through the implementation of the international seminar. He hopes that the collaboration can be carried out regularly and be mutually beneficial for both parties.
